Holding on

As the minutes go by,
I try not to cry
I try to think of anything but whats going on
But i cant get it out of my mind
i try distracting myself
and leave it behind
but its not that easy
its still on my mind
my head is spinning
my palms are sweating
whats going on?
I cant think straight
im drawing a blank
nothing is coming out of my mouth
no words can i speak
time seems to pass so slowly
i notice every passing second
i dont know what to say
should i speak?
or say nothing at all?
I dont know what to do
or should i do nothing at all?
The tears start to flow
it's something i just cant control
i try to leave the thought behind
but it's still on my mind
